Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had clean and good rooms with adequate lighting arrangements, but I decided not to stay there even at half the offered price. The service was courteous and helpful, although there were some issues with poor monitoring. Despite being a bit far from central tourist points and noisy, the location was convenient for my visit to Calcutta. The dining experience was below par, with limited options and no butter provided. The facilities were just moderate overall.
I have to say, my stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. While the room was tiny and not ideal for a good night's sleep, and the bathroom shower gave me trouble, I appreciated that they fixed the TV after I complained. The elevator was a hassle being so small and loud, and room service was nowhere to be found when I needed them. The complex WiFi system was just not worth the hassle, especially at $300 a night. At least I made the decision not to stay there in the end, even if the price was halved.
The hotel is conveniently located on AJC Bose Road, not far from Park Street and Esplanade, near Sealdah Railway station. The lighting arrangements were a bit lacking, and some areas were dirty. The rooms are too small for an average healthy person to sleep comfortably. The bathroom shower was not working properly, and initially, the TV was not functional, but they replaced it after a complaint. The elevator is only suitable for three people and is quite noisy, old, and slow. Room service can be difficult to reach when needed due to complex WiFi systems.
My room, though small, was surprisingly spacious and included two chairs, a table, and a wardrobe. The musty smell was a downside, but overall, it was adequate. The service was friendly, and they promptly changed my room when needed. The location was a bit noisy and difficult to navigate, but it's close to some key areas. The dining was mediocre, with subpar offerings. The hotel lacked proper maintenance in some areas but had some decent facilities.
The hotel is very centrally located on AJC Bose Road, not far from Park Street and Esplanade, and near Sealdah Railway station. The rooms are too damp even with A/C and the window, making it an uncomfortable stay despite potential cost savings.

The hotel's rooms were quite disappointing with various issues like small size, malfunctioning shower, and TV problems which were only resolved after complaining near the end of the stay. The elevator was old and noisy, and room service was inaccessible when needed. The complex WiFi system added to the inconvenience. However, the staff, despite being lazy, showed glimpses of friendliness and helpfulness. The location, though noisy, was on AJC Bose Road, not far from Park Street and Esplanade, making it somewhat convenient for travelers. The dining experience left much to be desired with below-par food quality and a lackluster menu. The facilities at the hotel were not quite up to the mark either.
